Following full time education, Natalie attended a Creative Writing course at Bournemouth and Poole College, a New Producers Alliance course (2004) and graduated from Southampton University (2005) with a BA Hons degree in English. During this time she began writing with Peter Stanley-Ward. Together they wrote 'Small Town Folk', a feature-length 'no budget' movie that was distributed in the home entertainment market to over thirty territories worldwide (Cannes 2007).
Natalie and Peter continue to work together and now helm the writing division of Treehouse Digital, a boutique production company specialising in high concept family entertainment. Natalie and Peter are passionate about the importance of 'Story'. From film to television and web videos, the driving force behind every production is narrative.
In 2015 Natalie and Peter's short film 'Litterbugs' was awarded full production funding under Creative England's Emerging Talent Fund and the project was completed January 2016. They also have several feature films in development with Mighty Atom Entertainment and Ingenious Media, and television shows with Tim Patterson (former Nickelodeon VP, Director of Programming).
