Treehouse head for annecy Festival 2026

Company Directors Paul Hamblin, Chris Musselwhite & Tom Saville we be heading out to Annecy from 21st-24th June. They’ll be joined by our Head of UE Production, Paul Hilton. Drop us a message through our site if you’re up for a chat.

Whilst they’re in town, Tom will be speaking at a panel called ‘The Making of Rogue Tropper’, discussing our production process and workflow through Loop One. He’ll be in great company, alongside director Duncan Jones, Producer Stuart Fenegan, VFX Supervisor Marty Waters, Co-Producer and Head of Development for Rebellion Films, Ben Smith, and Rogue Trooper himself, Aneurin Barnard.

We can’t wait to see the finished film, screening at the festival on Monday 22nd at 22:00. If you’re heading out, you can get tickets here.

new teaser for Rogue Trooper released!

Big news from Nu-Earth! A new teaser trailer for ROGUE TROOPER was released yesterday, along with an in-depth interview with director, Duncan Jones, and producer, Stuart Fenegan. Check out the Deadline article here.

What a journey we’ve had! It’s been a real privilege to contribute to an independent UK film that pushes the boundaries of animated storytelling. We’re incredibly grateful to have collaborated with such a talented group of filmmakers - and so proud of the whole team involved at Treehouse.

The film is currently being sold by Creative Artists Agency and Stuart Fenegan for Liberty Films.

our original script play dead finds its home on netflix!

After a successful showing at EFM in Berlin this year, PLAY DEAD, our tense WWII thriller, has been acquired by streaming service NETFLIX. Read the full article HERE.

The script was penned by writing duo Natalie Conway and Peter Stanley-Ward during lockdown, whilst the rest of the team were busy becoming world-class Virtual Production specialists. After development with Treehouse, the script was pushed forwards with the help of Dane Eckerle at Bad Grey, BoulderLight & Sam Rami’s Ghost House Pictures. It was directed by Jaume Collet-Serra on the beautiful stages at Nant Studios, Melbourne in May 2025 and financed by Nocturnal. Treehouse co-founder and executive producer, Chris Musselwhite said:
